Give thanks to the Lord who is good,
whose love endures forever!

Psalm 107:1

The Lord in his mercy and generosity continues to touch individual hearts through the Holy Spirit in support of the Food Pantry. Thank you and God Bless you goes out to all the parishioners who contributed food and/or who contributed financially to support this month's Special Thanksgiving Bags. The Pantry was able to serve 160 Families and over 15 Parish Families.   This is over and above the regular amount of food a Client would normally receive.

A Special heartfelt thank you goes out to the following... The Great Bridge High School, under the leadership of Ms. Putman and  faculty members and student leadership, donated 1293 cans...The Grassfield  Ruritan Club...Grassfield High School Anchor Club, under the leadership of Student Kayla Pangilinan... Trish O'Brien , gave a class on how to make the most out of Coupons, and on many occasions donates all the food she has bought with coupons to the Pantry...Saint Stephen Martyr Catholic Church Parishioners, under the leadership of Earl Lienemann, each month donates to the Pantry...Knights of Columbus...Chesapeake Can Do...Jonathan Lindsay" Poor John " , Farmer, provides produce...OBERWEIS DAIRY....Bill Pye, 500+ paper bags... Robert Swift, 20 Turkeys... Lynnhaven Chapel of Holloman-Brown Funeral Home , Jim Taylor, 4 Turkeys...Onesimus Ministries under the leadership of Rick Knobloch, drops off produce and meat on Wednesdays... Panera Bread , each Wednesday has been providing pastries and bread...  Greenbrier KinderCare...and the EDGEWOOD SOCIAL CLUB donated 200 cans in memory of Gloria F. Thompson. Mrs. Thompson didn't want flowers and asked for financial contributions to be used to purchase food for the Pantry.

As grateful as we are for your generosity, we want you to know that others are even more grateful.   God Bless You!

It is very important you keep these in mind when making your contributions:
NO GLASS JARS
WATCH THE EXPIRATION DATES
SMALL OR MEDIUM SIZE ITEMS ARE BEST
DO NOT GIVE PACKAGES THAT HAVE BEEN OPEN
We would like to wish everyone a blessed Christmas.
Let us give thanks that we are able to help those in need.

FOOD PANTRY IS ALSO FOR PARISHIONERS: We want to remind all of our parishioners that the food pantry is for YOU too. If you are in need, you can use the food pantry. Contact Sister Dolores at the Parish office by calling 547-0356 and your case will be handled discretely.
